Clean and cut thin slices apples: 4 large
Flour: 250 g.
baking powder: 2 teaspoons
Ζάχαρη : 200 g.
Milk: 200 ml
Molten butter: 150 g.
smitten eggs: 2 large
Brunette sugar: 140 g.
Honey: 90 ml
Water: 300 ml
Icing sugar: 4 tablespoons for sprinkling (optionally)

1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Butter a pyrex or ceramic, capacity approx 2,5 liters.
2. Put water, brown sugar and honey in a saucepan and put on fire. Stir until the sugar has melted and then bring to the boil. Remove from the heat and set aside.
3. Spread the apples on the buttered pyrex.
4. In another bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder and sugar. Add butter, milk and eggs and beat until smooth. You empty them over the apples, to cover the entire surface. Pour the syrup on top.
5. Bake the apple pie in the oven for 35 - 40 minutes, browned surface. Remove and allow to cool off the. If desired sprinkle with icing sugar.
6. Serve the apple pie lukewarm or at room temperature, plain or with whipped cream.
