Cheese bread (old, old)
2 eggs
3/4 cup water
2 – 5 1/2 pkg biscuit mix
2 tsp dry mustard (I use regular mustard,and dijon will add an extra kick)
2 Tbl butter
1 cup grated cheese plus 1/4 for topping
Beat eggs, stir in water, add biscuit mix, blend with fork, whatever. Add mustard, and 1 cup cheese.
Turn batter into greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 greased loaf pan.
Sprinkle with 1/4 cup grated cheese, and dot with butter.
Bake 350 for 40-45 minutes. Test with toothpick.
Let set on cooling rack for 15 minutes.

Slice serve with pepper jelly and cream cheese

Garlic pepper jelly recipe(can half)
2 16 oz jars apple jelly
2 Tbl dried parsley flakes
1 Tbl garlic pressed or from the jar
1/2 tsp dried crushed red pepper
4 tsp white vinegar
Melt all the above on low temperature, stirring occasionally. Pour back into jars, cool, then refrigerate.
Great on crackers.also.
We ate a pint in 2 days, and had another for them to take back home.
