Question by pokemonzam: How do I fix the pan in my bread maker?
The metal pin the centre of my bread maker keeps falling out. It’s an Oster Bread Maker. Any suggestions on how to fix it without buying a new one or taking it in for repairs? Basically, I want to fix it for free with stuff I have around the house.
I’m talking about the metal pillar that the paddle goes on at the centre of the bread pan. I tried a twist tie, but the pillar keeps slipping through.

Is it under the pan? I have a sunbeam and it is held in place with a snap ring. If yours is held with a cotter pin “through a hole” you could try to hold it with wire but a new cotter pin is worth only 5 cents.
You put the pin in and then bend the end so it will not fall out.
